Blizzard Book
The Blizzard book structure is attributed to Hedi Kyle. I learned it in a class with Kathy Steinsberger. The spine is folded in such a way that pockets are created and it is often used for scrapbooks or albums.
I thought it might be fun to make a book of books using this structure. I made a blizzard book covered with boards and then made little books (using a pamphlet stitch) for each of the slots. I then made a two more of the blizzard structures and covered them together in a double book. They're facing each other, so I guess it's face à face rather than dos à dos. I consider these to be maquettes, and I'm excited about the possibilities of making content for the little books.
